Table Scape Competition

2:30pm - Introduction and Rules, 3:00pm to 4:00pm Competition. Competition Time 1 hour 

The tablescape competition will be honoring and  in Memory of Georgia Ware Pendarvis.

Georgia was the founder of Dinsmore Florist, a thriving retail shop outside of  Jacksonville, FL. Her love for flowers started at a young age and only grew stronger throughout her long life. She was very involved in both her local florists’association and FSFA, freely sharing her passion for, and knowledge of flowers with everyone in her sphere of life. Georgia passed in 2015, but her legacy lives on, as her three sons all work in the floral industry, and one of them still owns her shop, keeping her dream alive and well. Those of us that were fortunate enough to know her, remember well her beauty (inside and out), and the way her eyes sparkled when she spoke to you. Your challenge is to create a tablescape that our beloved Georgia would love! 

Official Rules

Theme - "It's 5 o'clock Somewhere!"  

 Design should evoke a laid-back feeling, reminiscent of a carefree beach day!   

All fresh flowers, foliage, hard goods, and vessels/containers will be provided.  FSFA International will supply a low cocktail approximately  30"  round and house linen. (Contestant may bring their own linen if desired) 

You are allowed to bring table settings, which include plates, bowls, glassware, and utensils (forks, knives, spoons}. 

 NO OTHER PROPS WILL BE PERMITTED.

Your design must be viewed all around, they will be featured as a centerpiece on the dining tables during our awards dinner. 

 This is a timed competition to be designed on site. 

This competition is open to all paid members of FSFA International.

Registration Fee - $75.00. Fees are non-refundable.
